Author Guidelines

We only accept papers that fall under the science of International Relations. All authors shall provide all contributors of their research credit into the body of work being submitted. Submitted research must be original work and meet the following guidelines:

  •      Research shall be original work
  •      Research has not been published anywhere else
  •      Be between 2,500 to 6,000 words in length 
  •      Paper shall have a Title
  •      The research topic shall pertain to the field of International Relations, Global Security, 
  •      Abstract (maximum of 150 words). Note that your Abstract will be published.
  •      Research shall be free of spelling and grammar errors
  •      All authors and supporting research materials used shall be credited
  •      Research shall be properly formatted in the latest version of APA format.

  •        Research shall be translated into English by the author to avoid translation discrepancies.
  •        Provide an email address for publication in the event that someone would like to reach out to you about your submitted work.
  •       All authors submitted research will be subject to the peer-review process of our Editorial Team. 
  • Submissions are free, we do not charge any fee's.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (if so, please provide an explanation in the Comments section of your submission).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or RTF document file format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The text is single-spaced, uses a 12-point font, employs italics rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points.
  • All submissions are subject to review by the Editorial Team. All manuscripts must meet Author guidelines.

Copyright Notice

Authors maintain the rights to their contributions, with the right to share their work in other formats, such as Google Scholar, Researchgate, and your publication references. Your submission to the Panoply Journal gives the Center for International Relations and International Security (CIRIS) consent to publish your work, in which cannot be unpublished or removed after the peer-review process has started (14 days).
