Panoply: The Journal of International Relations and International Security is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Center for International Relations and International Security (CIRIS). The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for scholarly analysis of global political dynamics, strategic affairs, and security challenges in a rapidly evolving international system.
Panoply focuses on core themes within International Relations and International Security, including—but not limited to—global governance, international political economy, strategic competition, conflict and cooperation, security studies, diplomacy, and international law.
The journal welcomes contributions that combine theoretical rigor with empirical depth and policy relevance. Panoply publishes original research articles, analytical essays, and critical reflections that engage with contemporary international developments as well as enduring structural questions shaping global affairs. Interdisciplinary approaches drawing on political science, history, law, economics, and related disciplines are particularly encouraged.
Panoply is committed to academic integrity, transparent peer review, and open scholarly exchange. By fostering dialogue between established scholars, early-career researchers, and practitioners, the journal aims to contribute meaningfully to debates in international relations and international security scholarship.
This year is a rolling edition of the journal, which means that publications will be added over the course of this year.
