Call for papers 2026
Volume 7 (2026) — Rolling Publication
Panoply Journal invites original scholarly submissions for its 2026 rolling edition. As an open-access, peer-reviewed journal hosted by the Center for International Relations and International Security (CIRIS), Panoply publishes analytically rigorous work at the intersection of international relations, global security, human rights, international law, and political theory.
What we are looking for
We welcome submissions in the following categories:
- Research Articles
(theory-driven, empirical, or comparative scholarship) - Policy Analysis
(analytically grounded policy-focused papers) - Perspectives & Commentary
(shorter, well-argued analytical essays) - Book Reviews
Core themes include (but are not limited to):
- International relations theory and global order
- Human rights, genocide prevention, and accountability
- International law and global institutions
- Security studies and political economy
- Power, compliance, and governance in a multipolar world
- Ethical dilemmas in international politics
- Interdisciplinary approaches are strongly encouraged.
Call for Reviewers (Launching shortly)
Panoply Journal is expanding its reviewer pool for 2026.
We invite:
Early-career and senior scholars
PhD candidates (advanced stage)
Practitioners with strong academic backgrounds
Reviewer application form
The official reviewer application form will be released shortly.
In the meantime, we kindly ask all current users and contributors to:
Log in and update their Panoply profile
Add areas of expertise, institutional affiliation, and short bio
Indicate interest in reviewing future submissions
This will allow us to match reviewers more efficiently once the application form goes live.
